A ‘Variety’ of Budding Performers

On June 19th and 20th, Melville Senior High School hosted the Annual Performing Arts Variety Nights. Tuesday June 19th was all about the Years 7-9 students with performances including solo musicians, duets, whole-class drama performances and dances. You would not have been able to tell it was some of the students ‘debut’ performances on a stage as they shinned and delighted the audience. Wednesday June 20th was focused on the Years 10-12, the seasoned performers of Melville Senior High. Again, the performances ranged from solo musicians and dances, to monologues and whole-class drama performance pieces. Variety Show nights are an eagerly anticipated event on the MSHS performing arts calendar, from the fun and excitement of backstage to the thrill of performing in front of the audience. We look forward to our Variety Shows taking place on a grander stage next year…
