Congratulations to Year 9 Gifted and Talented student Richard Chen, who has been announced as a recipient of an International Maths Olympiad Challenge Elitist award. Richard and the Gifted and Talented classes underwent three testing rounds with increased progressive difficulty. In the third round, he was in the 83.04% percentile worldwide.
Erin Anderson, the Director of Global Programs in the USA, said, “Our 2023 Olympiad concluded last month with participation from thousands of students globally. The competition was intense, but Richard performed very well.
