Congratulations to Melville SHS students who have joined the 99 and 95 Clubs with outstanding ATAR results. Gifted and Talented students Eunice Tan and Benjamin Seow joined the 99 Club.

Eunice (99.7) will be studying Medicine after receiving a Direct Pathway to Medicine at UWA.  She said ‘I am extremely grateful for the immense support and encouragement my teachers had given me throughout my ATAR journey. Without their effort and care, I know for certain that I would not be able to achieve this result.’

LeAnn Yap (98.5) also received a Direct Pathway to study Medicine.

STEM studies are popular and our top achievers have chosen careers in that vein. Maen Dofash is going to study Mechanical Engineering at Curtin. Esther Tan has been accepted into Pharmacy at UWA, Stephen Omodunbi Medical Radiation Science at Curtin and Zarin Tasneem Engineering UWA.

95 Club members are: Maen Dofash, Marcus Robertson-Wall, LeAnn Yap, Esther Tan, Stephen Omodunbi, Harisheni Gopala Krishnan and Zarin Tasneem. Krishnan said about his English teacher (and Gifted and Talented Coordinator “Shout out to Mr Pearce for making English (the subject that I was barely passing) to the one that was my second top, you’re the best”.
